Douglas McMillan


Douglas McMillan is an Associate Attorney with The Workers' Firm.
As a licensed attorney in Georgia and Alaska with over thirteen years of experience, Doug devotes his career to representing individuals facing adverse employment actions, including cases involving sexual harassment, workplace retaliation, violations of the Family Medical Leave Act, and gender, pregnancy, race, age and disability discrimination.
Throughout his career, Doug has handled various complex cases, including serving as lead and co-counsel for thirty Georgia State Patrol Officers in their claims against the State of Georgia for wrongful termination and violations of the Georgia Whistleblower Protection Act.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Valdosta State University before earning his Juris Doctor at Cumberland School of Law. Doug is admitted to practice in the Northern and Middle District Courts of Georgia.
Outside of work, Doug enjoys rock climbing, hunting, fishing, camping, biking, and spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
